Update Wednesday February 24, 2021
Since the start of the global pandemic so much has changed. One thing that will not change is our commitment to the health and safety of our Chapel Heights Resident and team member. With the approval of Public Health, Chapel Heights opened and hosts a unique barrier enhanced visitation centre that allows family and friends to have safe visits with their loved one’s.
Under the direction of our Executive and our entire clinical and operational Management Team, safety of our Residents and staff is paramount. We are grateful to our team for their tremendous efforts, commitment and dedication to our Residents.
From the onset of novel coronavirus, we have implemented proactive measures to minimize risk. Our team members have been well prepared, with strong infection control and management protocols, and we are in constant communication with local public health officials.
We are pleased to report that as of Saturday February 20th, 2021 our Residents have been vaccinated! Public health authorities begin the vaccination process for our team members on Friday February 19th, 2021. Essential family visitors and/or essential care partners are being vaccinated through Public Health based on regional eligibility requirements and supplies of the Health Canada approved vaccine.
We are committed to our Residents, our families and our team members as we fight this virus together. We will update this page as new information becomes available.
